We have received confirmation from our suppliers that both the ANGULUS tex membrane (ANGULUS TEX) and the waterproofing treatment are free of these substances. This has also been confirmed through independent laboratory testing of our products.
Moreover, our imprægneringsspray 2GO waterbased protector, likewise contains no fluorinated substances.
We are aware that the TEX membrane and imprægneringsspray are identified as the primary risks for the presence of potentially harmful PFAS substances in shoes. Therefore it has been important for us to ensure that these substances are not present in ANGULUS tex-boots.
Our supplier of ANGULUS gummistøvler has likewise confirmed and had the products tested to be free of PFAS substances.
We have received some inquiries from customers asking about PFAS content in ANGULUS-shoes without TEX membrane. At present, there is no suspicion that PFAS substances are present in other materials used in the production of ANGULUS-shoes. PFAS substances are primarily found in the tex material that ensures the shoes are as waterproof as possible. We are of course monitoring this closely.
