When the summer months arrive, it's time to give our feet some air after being closed up in socks and shoes or boots for a long time. The only real way to give your feet everyday breathability is with a pair of classic men's sandals. With a pair of our lovely, open footwear, you'll welcome summer with fresh air for your toes in a pair of fashionable and/or classic sandals.
Whether you prefer the fully open models that are easy to slip on and off when you're for example in the garden or at the beach, or you prefer the more closed design that sits securely on the foot, you'll find it with us.
Designed in Denmark and built to last
We are proud of our designs, all drawn in the vicinity of the city where it all began – Copenhagen. At our design studio in Herlev, our team of talented designers work out how the next collection should look. They draw inspiration from around the world, while staying true to the classic Danish style that never goes out of fashion.
Once the sandals are designed in Denmark, a large team of highly skilled and dedicated shoemakers are ready to start production at our factory in Portugal. The shoemakers have long and proud traditions of excellent craftsmanship, which suits our target group of style- and quality-conscious Danish men perfectly. We know many Danes are particular about the products they buy, and we meet their demand for timeless products that are as pleasing to the eye as they are a pleasure to walk in.
High-quality materials and a strong focus on the environment
When our shoemakers manufacture shoes, they do so with carefully selected materials of the highest quality. We use genuine leather for many of our shoes. The leather comes from some of the best tanneries in Europe, which results in a truly excellent product.
Some of our shoe models are manufactured from the material PIÑATEX®, which is a 100% natural and vegan material. It comes from pineapple and is manufactured from the fibers in the pineapple leaves. These leaves would normally go to waste during the pineapple harvest, so by transforming them into PIÑATEX® we take another step to reduce waste and protect the environment.
One of our greatest prides is our classic sole, which is manufactured from crepe rubber. This sole is found on many of our shoes, boots and sandals, and completes the shoe experience because it is so comfortable to walk on.
