Small kids need small shoes. A mary jane is the perfect pair of shoes for your little child who has just started to pull up and take a few wobbly steps, or for your little one who has begun walking around and wants to explore out of curiosity. Our mary janes are made from some of the best materials, ensuring the highest quality.

At ANGULUS we focus on designing timeless classics. Our mary janes for kids are designed with small, refined details that complete the shoe's look. With a pair of ANGULUS mary janes your kids are nicely dressed.

Many of our mary janes feature a velcro closure, so the shoes can be easily taken on and off when, for example, they need to be changed or put on with different clothes.

Natural materials and genuine leather

At ANGULUS we believe that natural feet require natural shoes. Natural kids's shoes are shoes that fit the foot and allow the kids the greatest possible freedom of movement and support. That's why we use entirely natural materials for the soles of our mary janes for kids – our crepe rubber soles are manufactured from natural crepe rubber from strong and healthy rubber trees. The crepe rubber soles are both flexible, so they adapt to the shape and movement of the feet, and they are shock-absorbing, protecting the whole body. The crepe rubber for the soles is tapped from sustainable, CO2-absorbing rubber trees.

Most of our shoes are produced from leather. We always use genuine leather, tanned at reputable tanneries across Europe and free from harmful substances in accordance with Danish legislation, to ensure the highest possible quality. Genuine leather makes the shoes breathable and supple and ensures high quality.

It's important to choose the right size and fit for your child

When you invest in shoes for your kids, it's important that the shoes fit the foot and sit properly. We recommend measuring your child's foot and buying shoes accordingly. Kids grow quickly, but it is still important that the shoes provide the right support so the kids can best develop and practice balance and motor skills. Many of our mary janes come with a firm heel counter that provides maximum support to the foot. Together with the soft crepe rubber sole and the genuine leather, this makes a shoe that is really good for the little kids' first steps into the world.

Handcrafted shoes, manufactured with love

At our factory in Portugal a large team of dedicated shoemakers with many years of proud traditions in shoemaking work. They handcraft all ANGULUS’ shoes, boots, sandals, indoor shoes and mary janes, and each piece of footwear receives careful attention. Since March 2020 all ANGULUS shoes have been produced at our own factory in northern Portugal. Since 2020 the shoes have been produced in our own factory (though not rain boots) to future-proof the high product quality ANGULUS is known for, and to be able to work efficiently on constant optimisation of the product's journey from the design process and raw materials to the finished shoe landing on the shelves – for the benefit of the environment and all our customers.
