Timeless classics and proud traditions for more than 115 years
Since ANGULUS was founded in Copenhagen more than 115 years ago, the vision has been to create classic footwear that doesn’t compromise on comfort, fashion, mobility or design. With shoes shaped to the foot, we showed Denmark that it’s possible to create shoes that are both a delight to the eye and comfortable to walk in. We have kept that approach, so our shoes today are timeless classics that follow current trends, while still being comfortable enough to wear all day.
One of the proudest elements of our footwear is the sole on many of our shoes – the crepe rubber sole. The crepe rubber sole is manufactured from 100% natural material — crepe rubber, which comes from rubber trees. We ensure that the rubber is tapped directly from the trees in a way that does not harm them. This allows the trees to continue growing and producing oxygen for the benefit of the entire planet. In line with this and our overall DNA, we have implemented several green initiatives in the processes around the manufacturing of our shoes. For example, we minimize waste so any leather remnants from shoe production are recycled and reused. In addition, all our shoeboxes are FSC MIX certified according to Danish legislation, and they come from responsible sources.
