How to measure your child's foot

You can measure your child's feet yourself. It is important that the child stands up and puts their full weight on the foot being measured. Always remember to measure both feet, as it is very common for there to be a slight difference. If the child curls their toes, take a short walk and measure again.

Place your child's foot with the heel against the wall (either on a measuring tape or a piece of paper). Draw a line in front of the longest toe and then measure the length. It is normal for there to be a slight difference between the feet, but if there is more than a 2 mm difference, measure again to be sure.
