9 advices for buying Winter boots

9 advices for buying Winter boots

The colder months of Fall and Winter are approaching. We give you nine advices for choosing the best boots for your child.

1. It is always a good idea to try on the shoes or boots and always try them on on both feet as one feet can be different from the other.
2. We recommend 1 to 1,5 centimeters space for growth. Be sure there is “air” for the feet to grow when trying on the shoes.
3. Check if your child have a narrow or wide foot. ANGULUS designs both shoes with narrow and wide fit. Depending on the model.
4. Take good care of your shoes. it is important to apply the necessary leather care with a protection spray and shoe polish with low oil content.
5. Don’t pass the shoes down to smaller siblings. We all have different feet and it is uncomfortable for the young ones to wear shoes adapted to other’s feet.
6. ANGULUS TEX keeps the feet dry and ensures a healthy foot climate.
7. At the cold winter months go for boots with wool lining to keep the feet warm.
8. Did your child just begin to walk? Go for a beginner’s shoe/boot. We have a wide selection. Beginner’s shoes are lighter and thereby it is eaiser for the little one to move around.
9. Daycares and kindergartens often prefer the children to wear Velcro shoes or boots. You might want to take that into consideration.

“When I’m buying Winter boots for my own children I want my children to have warm and dry feet all winter and that the boot have great support and fit.” Maria Dalsager, Designer at ANGULUS.
